Rio Blanco County covers over 3,200 square miles of Northwest Colorado. With a population of about 6,000, it's one of Colorado's most sparsely populated counties - and one of its best for outdoor recreation.
The county has two main towns: Meeker (county seat) and Rangely. Most visitors to the county stay in Meeker due to its proximity to the Flat Tops Wilderness and White River.
